Weaned on Wyngarde

I was trying to avoid ITV4, who are showing all of the old 60s ITC series. Department S, The Persuaders, Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), Man in a Suitcase etc. But slowly I have given in to temptation and have started to tune in to the odd episode of The Protectors, the occasional Champions. To my surprise, my daughter has taken a particular shine to Peter Wyngarde, insisting on watching an entire episode of Jason King.

Cats and Tamagotchis

Gave in on the last day of the half term holiday and bought my daughter a tamagotchi.
I'd promised her a cat, and we will get a cat, but it's a complicated process. So far we have cat litter, a litter tray and cat food but no cat.
Back to the tamagotchi, it was looking like I was going to be the one who looked after it the most until I worked out how to 'pause' it. I regret buying it, its addictive button pressing is a warm-up for my daughter wanting a mobile phone.
